The Girl Who Takes an Eye for an Eye is the latest book in the Millennium series with the main character, Lisbeth Salander. This is the second book in the series that has been written by David Lagercrantz after the death of the original series creator, Stieg Larsson. In The Girl Who Takes an Eye for an Eye, Lisbeth finds herself in prison after defending a child with autism in the previous book,  The Girl in the Spider's Web. Lisbeth finally has the chance to uncover what happened to her in her childhood. With the help of Mikael Blomkvist and Holger Palmgren, Lisbeth begins researching the secrets of “The Registry,” which is believed to be a scientific experiment on eugenics.
